Tasting - Anima Trebbiano D'Abruzzo

Name: Anima Trebbiano D'Abruzzo
Variety: Trbbiano
Country: Abruzzo, Italy
Year: 2008
Price: $15.96

Vintage Cellar Review: A luminous straw yellow color, a persistent fruity and intense fragrant floral nose, with a hint of honey, turning to fresh citrus fruit and peach on the medium palate.  Bright acidity gives the finish a crisp kick.  Drink now. 3,350 cases made.

My Review: When first smelling this wine, I detected a highly floral nose.  There was no burn when swallowing the wine, it was very crisp.  The wine tasted slightly sweet, mostly due to the strong honey taste.  I was a fan of this wine, the overall flavors of honey and citrus were well balanced.
