Tasting - Morada Sangria

Name: Morada Sangria
Variety: Sangria
Country: Spain
Year: -
Price: $4.95

Vintage Cellar Review: A traditional Spanish drink made with red wine and citrus extracts. Garnet color and fresh on the palate. Serve well chilled, on its own or with lemonade and slices of fruit like peach, banana or apple.

My Review: The nose on this wine was sweet and fruity, filled with fruits such as lemon, melon, peaches and oranges.  When tasting this wine, it reminded me of a mixed drink with sprite, crystal light and vodka.  The flavors did not seem to mix well together, and the sweetness overpowered the rest of the flavors.
